Artistic director : guillaume henrymood : in the grand palais, everything in the room in purple and pink. south america, the sunset in bogota, summer, heat, sporty allure, french elegance. the girls walk with a strong stride. laetitia casta in the first row. silhouette : elegance, chic, summery. thin and high waist, the velvet shoulders, high heels, revealed bodyfocus on : the sporty stripes, reinterpreted on an urban wardrobe, from black and white skirt and shirt to a vest with a sequined skirt, or a top with butterfly sleeves, a dress with coloured bands ready to be put on lingerie vibe with chic baby doll dresseshigh waisted skirt and trousers, belted to note : the details of this whole ‘jogging’ style with leopard prints, the glittering embroidery on the long sleeves of the gowns.interview with guillaume henry :the past season, i was in inspired by the wardrobe and the vocabulary of a bourgeoise woman who i have imagined or as i’ve seen in the movies i love. here this time i wanted to see her travelling, and i looked a bit at the south american side and how the people dress, there’s are a lot of interbreeding in the way they dress, they can have an incredible allure with a football t-shirt for example there is always a coloured side, joyful, and graphics that can always be found in both art and in general. it’s something, the stripes, that i associate with the sun and it’s true that i wanted the colours to reflect that, or they are tones that go from one to other, but in all the shades, i wanted the stripes to move like a rainbow when i work on the clothes i do not necessarily think of the garment’s design, i think about how it will be worn. for example, we walk differently when we wear a fitted skirt compared to when we wear loose trousers. although the models were wearing the same shoes they were representing different women. i wanted to have a different wardrobe but always have the same allure. music from the show (only to be used in the context of the show, protected by the right to information.)
