The Dutch food and cosmetics giant has signed a multi-year partnership with Vice magazine to launch Broadly, a channel completely devoted to women.

Launched in August, Broadly will be present on social networks, Snapchat and YouTube as well as on Vice’s various outlets (it currently has 10 themed channels).

While the partnership may seem unique to Keith Weed, Unilver’s chief marketing and communication officer, it will allow the group to conduct a real dialogue with its clients. This is even more so the case, since 78% of Unilever's sales come women, who are "the backbone of our products," he explained.

Unilever, which is sponsoring the chain’s launch and which should also co-create content, will initially focus the partnership on its brands Dove and TRESemmé, according to The Guardian.

Broadly will offer programs and documentaries related to politics, fashion and culture.
