Tommy Hilfiger gives details of GigiXTommy launch
Tommy Hilfiger is relying heavily on Gigi Hadid's smile. The top model and social media star has been the brand’s official ambassador since the beginning of the year and will enjoy her own capsule collection at the start of the autumn. Clearly, the brand has high expectations that this collaboration will rejuvenate its image. The GigiXTommy line is targeted to Millennials, like the new denim collection launched at Urban Outfitters last August.
The Tommy Hilfiger website has already devoted ample space to the 1st September launch, inviting visitors to register to receive advance information about the collection. The management of the PHV group, owners of the brand, has also provided further details on the launch strategy.
GigiXTommmy will be distributed through Tommy Hilfiger's own stores and other key retailers. But the collection will also be available on the Amazon and Revolve websites.
The management underlined how this initiative signals the brand's intention to expand its womenswear business which, thanks to a powerful marketing support package, should be boosted by the launch.
