The jewellery brand, made famous worldwide by Audrey Hepburn in the film Breakfast at Tiffany’s, on Tuesday opened its third store in Spain, and its first concession at El Corte Inglés. Located in one of the department store's Madrid locations, the new point of sale highlights the company’s commitment to the Spanish market.

The retail space covers 111 m² on the jewellery floor of El Corte Inglés.

Tiffany’s Managing Director Spain and Italy, Raffaella Banchero, said the store opening “highlights the importance of the Spanish market” and will “boost its growth as a global brand that stands for beauty and elegance,” according to a
company statement.

The new retail point is the second in the capital and the third in Spain, since the jeweller opened its first Spanish store in Madrid in 2008. In 2010, Tiffany & Co added a boutique in Barcelona to its network.

According to the brand, the new store aims to attract the department store’s usual customers and also tourists, where they will have the chance to shop some of the world’s most beautiful gems.

Spanish model Eugenia Silva and the company’s Managing Director, Raffaella Banchero, cut the ribbon at the opening ceremony. The jewellery brand has over 290 stores and 12,000 employees worldwide.
