Saint Laurent finally opens store on Paris’ Avenue Montaigne

Published

Saint Laurent has opened its Parisian flagship at 53 Avenue Montaigne. The space measures 900m² and is decked out in the emblematic monochrome colours of the luxury fashion house, which owned by Kering.

Inside, the architecture has a modern 2013 feel with art deco references. Rigid lines and a non-colour colour palette reflect the aesthetic of the label’s artistic director Hedi Slimane.

The less-than-ostentatious store design gives precedence to the brand’s strong designs is the opinion of some who has seen the store.

The brand’s strong style, including that of the boutique, has helped set Saint Laurent apart from other brands in the world of luxury.

Today, Saint Laurent has almost 100 stores across the world and recently opened in Berlin. Two openings in New York and London are on the cards for the near future, on Greene Street and Sloane Street respectively. In Paris, the brand’s first ever store at place Saint Sulpice has been closed for renovation.
