OutDoor launches July show, celebrates the best of the industry
OutDoor, the leading trade fair for the outdoor industry, opened the doors to its July show in Friedrichshafen, Germany on Wednesday 13 July.
With an exhibitor record of 960 brands from 40 countries, the three-day event was launched with the European Outdoor Group’s annual Summer Meeting, where representatives discussed a range of key industry topics and updates.
On the first day of the show, OutDoor celebrated the most innovative companies of the industry with an awards ceremony. From a field of 343 entries, 37 winners picked up an OutDoor Industry Award for their exceptional products and 8 were recognized with the highly regarded OutDoor Gold Award.
Among others, brands that picked up a gold award included Berghaus for an ultra-lightweight waterproof jacket and Exped for a practical transfer bag. Other winners were Stoll, Edelrid, Therm-a-Rest, Beanscorp, Birnadal and Langbrett.
Over the course of the next few days until 16 July, OutDoor show will host a series of brand presentations, workshops and insight sessions on the latest trends of the international outdoor market.
