OPI partners with Disney, releases Alice Through the Looking Glass collection
Disney has scored a number of fashion and beauty collaborations to celebrate the release of its new movie, Alice Through the Looking Glass, out in cinemas on 27 May. Following the successful partnerships with Marc by Marc Jacobs and Urban Decay, the latest brand to announce the release of an Alice-inspired collection is nail polish manufacturer OPI.
Drawing inspiration from the film's mad, crazy, wonderful characters and their latest adventures, the Alice Through The Looking Glass collection brings eight new limited edition shades, each available in both lacquer and GelColor formulas.
"We are thrilled at this opportunity to capture even more of Wonderland's fantasy, adventure, and whimsy," said Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI Co-Founder and Brand Ambassador. "These shades truly say 'wear me', and let Alice fans indulge in a little madness of their own."
This is not the first time the American cosmetic brand has partnered with Disney. OPI’s relationship with the Disney film franchise began in 2010 with an Alice in Wonderland collection.
Disney Alice Through the Looking Glass Collection by OPI debuted in salons as of May 1, 2016.
