Maison Kitsuné opens its first permanent boutique in Hong Kong

Building on the success of its pop-up store called "Maison Kitsuné Gallery" launched last March, the French-Japanese label, after a spate of new openings in the last few months (Paris, New York), recently announced the inauguration of its first permanent boutique in Hong Kong.

The new Maison Kitsuné boutique in Hong Kong.

Located at 5/7 Cleveland Street Fashion Walk, in the Causeway Bay neighbourhood famous for its many boutiques, the new shop extends over 80 sq m. It has been designed in a post-modern style, combining Parisian touches with subtle allusions to Hong Kong culture.

Spot-on then, a store concept that as always offers an authentic retail experience (fashion, music and design).

Maison Kitsuné featured multiple openings in 2015.

In terms of interiors, Maison Kitsuné opted for a floor with an industrial flavour, white walls decorated with black and white tiling, oak shelving with white wooden brackets and also furniture items found in Hong Kong.

In addition to the permanent collections, the boutique hosts a dedicated capsule collection.

Christened 'Hongkongais', it was initially conceived for the 'Maison Kitsuné Gallery' pop-up store, but founders Gildas Loaëc and Masaya Kuroki decided to extend it for the occasion, adding two new tee-shirts in summery hues and a short-sleeved shirt.
