After giving us a quick peek of a few models back in 2000, Jimmy Choo has designed an entirely new shoe collection for men to be presented at Milan’s fashion week. This will be an important step for the brand, which plans on having a large-scale launch of its new line.

Expected in stores in the next Autumn / Winter season, the collection should be “a reflection of the same fundamental values”, oozing glamour and masculinity. “Be it an artist or investment banker, the ‘Jimmy Choo man’ emanates confidence and style”, explains Tamara Mellon, founder of the brand and currently its artistic director.
The collection will be distributed exclusively at top retailers and selected multi-brand and department stores. Initially, the brand is counting on having about 30 points of sale across the globe, which is not much when compared to the number of places offering its women’s products. Consisting of shoes, leather goods and glasses, the latter are sold at the brand’s 115 boutiques located in 32 countries (with 30 in Asia alone), in addition to multi-brand and duty-free stores.
The preview of the men’s collection will be following the launch of Jimmy Choo’s first ever fragrance for women, available for purchase at Interparfums from January 15th.
