Modernising the image and creativity of Haute Couture, the Fédération Française de la Couture, encompassing ready-to-wear designers and fashion creators, linked up with Instagram during Couture week autumn/winter 2016-2017.

The Fédération published content exclusive to Instagram, created specifically by a panel of international Instamgrammers: artists, fashion personalities, illustrators, photographers, bloggers, editors and designers.

The aforementioned provide a perspective of the week, through the creation of original posts symbolising the spirit of Couture. Showcasing their point of view across different platforms as artists, each image was then transferred onto the official Fédération Instagram account.

This season, seven Instagrammers were selected: illustrators Richard Haines and Clym Evernden, artists Thomas Lélu and Pierre Marchal, the fashion editorial team from TheBlondSalad.com, blogger Aimee Song, as well as model and entrepreneur Natalia Vodianova.

Moreover, designers and fashion houses also sent an original image to the Federation. Together, these images were posted on the Fédération's account throughout the week.
