FashionMag.com acquires Fabeau.de

Marking 15 years for parent group Fashion Group, FashionMag.com has announced the news of its first acquisition. The French publisher will take over fabeau.de activities, integrating the B2B's German website into its current fold.



The acquisition is a strategic move within the thriving European market.

"Our international expansion is accelerating and Germany is one of our priority markets. By taking over Fabeau, we can now reach and influence more professionals in fashion, beauty and luxury," explains Jean-Philippe Boudy, founder and CEO of Fashion Group, which also operates FashionJobs.com.

Launched in 2010 by Doreen Wilken, a former consultant at Deloitte & Touche and KPMG, Fabeau.de has fostered an important community over the past six years, made up of fashion and beauty professionals.

The website records 120,000 visits per month and sends out a daily newsletter to several thousand subscribers. FashionMag.com and Fabeau share the same philosophy: to be an exhaustive source of information and a responsive and reliable destination for fashion professionals.

"We will integrate Fabeau's activities. Our desire is to develop under one name only, that is FashionMag.com," added Jean-Philippe Boudy.

Present in more than 50 countries and publishing newsletters in ten languages, FashionMag.com counts 1.15 million visits each month with 3.1 million unique visits.

In total, some 750,000 fashion, luxury and beauty professionals are currently subscribed. FashionJobs.com publishes 15,000 employment advertisements each month, making it the leader in its sector.
