"We have taken the strategic step of entering into the premium skincare market (...) DDF Skincare has a very loyal customer base in the USA and beyond and we plan to bring these well-loved products to new markets," says Dilesh Mehta, Designer Perfume CEO.

The group will also work alongside Dr. Howard Sobel, a dermatologist who founded DDF Skincare in 1991, as he takes on an operational role in the marketing and developing of its products.

Founded in 2002, the company Designer Parfums is owned by Shaneel Enterprises, which owns or distributes the perfumes Agent Provocateur, Jean Louis Scherrer, Aigner Parfums and Worth.

In July 2011, Designer Parfums had previously bought Jean Patou perfumes from Procter & Gamble.
