Comptoir des Cotonniers invites J Brand to showcase its denim expertise
After Princesse Tam Tam's jerseys and leotards and Uniqlo's down jackets, Comptoir des Cotonniers invited another brand belonging to its group, Fast Retailing, to share its expertise. This time it will be US denim label J Brand that will make a cameo appearance in the womenswear label's stores, with a small capsule collection.
Though the four products issuing from this co-branding initiative have not yet been revealed, Comptoir des Cotonniers announced that it will be a denim collection, featuring two pairs of jeans, a dress and a jacket-shirt.
The mini-capsule collection will be unveiled at the end of February in the retailers' stores, to create an event at the start of the season. Under the creative direction of Anne-Valérie Hash, Comptoir des Cotonniers looks for products that are timeless and recognisable. As with the down jacket co-signed with Uniqlo, which gradually became one of its essentials, perhaps also like the Slash sneaker launched last season, the Parisian fashion label could find its ideal jeans through this collaboration.
