True Fit receives $25 million Series B funding

True Fit, footwear and apparel’s discovery platform, announced on Wednesday a $25 million Series B funding from Jump Capital, Signal Peak Ventures, and Intel Capital. The Series B brings the company’s total investment to $40 million.

The company is behind the largest platform of apparel and footwear data, which it created in collaboration with the world’s leading fashion retailers and brands including Nordstrom, Macy's, Hudson's Bay Company, Adidas and Under Armour among others. True Fit mapped the first-ever Genome for footwear and apparel, which helps retailers and brands unlock digital growth in the industry. All clothing and shoes in the Genome are defined by up to 200 detailed attributes including style characteristics and technical specs. True Fit curates full catalogues of shoes and clothing to match the consumers’ personal style and performance needs.
 
The platform’s Genome also powers its award-winning Confidence Engine that allows retailers to provide highly personalized fit ratings and size recommendations. True Fit also launched its Discovery Engine, which allows retailers to curate highly personalized collections to each consumer, and True Insight™, which provides retailers and brands unparalleled insights to optimize marketing, merchandising and product development.

The company will use its recent funding to serve rising demand and growth and drive innovation, as well as accelerate market growth of new products from its Genome platform.
