Tranoï Homme and Tranoï Preview combined next summer

Both shows were already connected through their location, each taking place at the Palais de la Bourse within two days of one another. But beginning next season, Tranoï Homme and Tranoï Preview will share not only the location, they will also share the same dates. Their organizer, the Hadida family, has announced that they will be combined into one single event.

Tranoï Homme, dedicated to menswear, and Tranoï Preview, dedicated to women's pre-collections, will share two major locations: le Palais de la Bourse and le Carrousel du Louvre. The new combined event will include both men’s and women's wear, comprised until now of 150 brands at Tranoï Man and a little over 100 at Preview.

In fact, it is the more recent womenswear show that will join the menswear show since the latter’s dates are the ones being maintained. Both shows should therefore open during the last weekend in June, probably on Saturday the 27th or Sunday the 28th.

The aim for event organizers is to allow Tranoï Preview to take full advantage of the presence of buyers in Paris before they leave. Organizers have found that the current dates, wedged in with Haute Couture Week, came a little too late for pre-collection buyers.

The winter session of Tranoï Preview, which concluded on Monday, January 26, saw solid attendance but the following two days were much less busy. Overall, attendance was nevertheless up 36% this season, with 78% of the total visitors consisting of foreign buyers.

Organizers are counting on reinforcing the trade show they launched in early 2013 by coupling it with a menswear event that is well established on buyers’ calendars.
