The latest edition of the Tranoï show, held in Paris from 2nd to 5th October, was a success. The show brought together 550 designers and its attendance jumped by 4%. It is now set to feature a new venue for the January and June editions, at the Cité de la mode et du design.

"A simple choice, tied to our need for ample spaces (1,700 m²), explained David Hadida, which heralds a new orientation in the expansion of the Tranoï shows' lifestyle offering."

A range of fragrances will be presented at the next edition of the Tranoï Homme and Tranoï Preview shows, from 23rd to 25th January at the Cité de la mode et du design. "A mini show-in-show", organised in association with designer Philippe Di Méo and with David Frossard, a fine perfumery specialist and the founder of Différentes Latitudes, the independent perfumeries label. Both of them hail from the Liquides perfume bar in Paris' Marais district.

Between 40 and 50 independent fragrance designers will be exhibiting at the show. They have been selected by a committee made up of Martine and Armand Hadida, Marie-Françoise Stoulz, beauty department director at Le Bon Marché department store, journalist Lionel Paillès, who notably collaborates with Lui magazine, Philippe Di Méo, David Frossard and Wouter Wiels, creator of the 'Les rives de la beauté' event.

A special set design, consisting of 'fragrance fitting rooms' combining an olfactory and textile experience, will be created by designer Philippe Di Méo.
