The Hoxton Collective returns to showcase pre-collections

Pre-collections are notoriously important for fashion brands' sales, but can be hard to organize for smaller brands as there is no rigid calendar. To help with that, The Hoxton Collective will showcase a number of collections this June.

The Hoxton Collective is a showroom in The Apartment at The Hoxton hotel, Holborn, and will open on June 13 and 14, directly after London Collections: Men, which takes place on June 10-13. The Hoxton Collective will display collections from ready-to-wear designers Astrid Andersen, who will be launching her first womenswear line, Edeline Lee, Holly Fulton, Huishan Zhang and Shrimps.

Labels including Altuzarra, Bionda Castana, Emilia Wickstead, Markus Lupfer, Mary Katrantzou, palmer//harding and Roland Mouret will also host showrooms and hold appointments with buyers and press in the capital from June 13-15.

Caroline Rush CBE, Chief Executive, BFC said: “The pre-collection period can be difficult for new businesses with no rigid calendar. Helping give focus to designers launching and building their pre collections at a time when British retailers and international multi brand boutiques are in London is a good start. Working with The Hoxton Collective is a key part of our commitment to championing and nurturing British talent, and this season’s designers reflect the diversity that London Pre Collections offer.”

The BFC's website will have a map of pre-collection activity, which will include all designer showing pre-collections in London - including Amanda Wakeley, Anya Hindmarch, Burberry, Belstaff, Joseph, Osman, Preen by Thornton Bregazzi, Pringle of Scotland and Roksanda.
