Tagly app allows users to generate content

Mar 25, 2016

The new fashion and lifestyle app, Tagly, aims to have users generate content and control brand marketing such as launch dates.

Using the example where Instagram recently revealed that 70% of its content is unseen by users, Tagly aims to address this, allowing users to choose what information they receive such as sales, news, trends or events.

"Organic reach has been dying for years, and the recent announcement from Instagram is only another step towards the grave," said Mark Alhermizi, founder and CEO.

Alhermizi continued, "[u]p until now, people have had no choice but to stomach these changes. We believe each user should have the power to choose what matters to them. That's why we created Tagly."

The market for Tagly will sit with brands who are seeking better content marketing solutions.

"The reception has been overwhelming. As a result, we've been fortunate to begin discussions with brands like Estée Lauder, Helmut Lang, Chanel, and Theory," said Alhermizi. "With their input we're building a powerful platform for them to reach their followers on Tagly with 100% efficiency and reach."

Tagly was created in Detroit by app engineer Alhermizi, and has been released on the iOS and Android systems for now.
