Skechers creates a subsidiary for central and eastern Europe

Skechers plans to double its CEE sales in the next three to five years through an expanded offering of men’s, women’s and kids’ product and a growing distribution base in new and existing markets that includes department, specialty and Skechers retail stores.

The head office will be located in Budapest and will have Hungary, Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Kosovo, Macedonia, Moldavia, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia and Slovenia under its wing.

This structure will be headed by Petar Dulic, who, for 18 years, has been Skechers' development partner on the former Yugoslavia's markets as an associate and general director of the company Office Shoes.

Under his leadership, Skechers will set up showrooms in each country and develop its distribution in department stores, specialised stores and also its own stores.
