Flash sale website ShowroomPrivé has announced the appointment of Thomas Kienzi to the role of chief financial officer, succeeding Nicolas Woosen, who led the French firm during its stock debut at the end of 2015.

Thomas Kienzi - ShowroomPrivé

Thomas Kienzi joined ShowroomPrivé in 2015 to assist with their IPO, and last year became the deputy chief financial officer. The company's management said Kienzi played a key role in the acquisition and integration of websites Saldi Privati and Beauté Privé as well as helping facilitate the firm's merger with Steinhoff (Conforama).

A graduate of EDHEC and with a solid twelve year's experience in investment banking in France and overseas, the new finance director previously worked for Morgan Stanley, Crédit Agricole CIB and in the Paris and London offices of Deutsche Bank.

After recording a 21.9% increase in sales, to 540 million euros, in 2016, ShowroomPrivé is eyeing revenues between 690 and 720 million for 2017. For the first-half 2017, revenues jumped 27.4% to 306 million euros.

The firm most recently launched a plus-size extension range of its own brand, IRL.
