In his new position at ShopWorn, the executive will be charged with improving the platform’s customer experience with a particular focus on strategies aiming to recreate the feeling of in-person shopping.

During his eight-year tenure at Neiman Marcus Last Call, Crisci helped transform the discounted luxury retailer into a $500-million omnichannel business.

Over the course of his career, he has gained extensive knowledge of the online shopping behavior of luxury consumers. As well as Neiman Marcus Last Call, his previous experience includes almost three years as VP of merchandising and GGM at Lucky Brand/Juicy Couture/DKNY/Liz Claiborne Inc., and five years spent as VP of retail merchandising at Jones Apparel Group. He has also previously served as senior buyer at Bloomingdale’s.

“Frank Crisci is a man whose reputation precedes him in an industry where your reputation is everything,” said ShopWorn CEO Larry Birnbaum in a release. “His contributions will help ShopWorn reach its goal of making the retail industry a win-win-win for all – from brands to retailers to the customers who find incredible value on our site.”

Crisci’s appointment is the latest change to take place at the e-commerce platform over the past few months, as the company seeks to capitalize on its accelerated growth. In October, ShopWorn opened a Hong Kong office as part of its efforts to move into the luxury e-commerce market in China.

In November, the company launched its ShopWorn BuyBack Partnership Program, allowing the platform’s partners to direct select authorized retailers to ShopWorn, which will purchase their aged inventory.

Founded in 2015, ShopWorn offers luxury products at discounted prices by sourcing unsold inventory from luxury brands and authorized retailers.
