Shiseido arrives in Singapore to develop Asia Pacific

Created in June, the Asia-Pacific region allows Shiseido to continue to develop its global marketing strategy. With its central positioning and major role in the Asian economy, Singapore was chosen as the ideal location, says the group.

The Asia-Pacific market has great growth potential for the group, which needs to be physically present to meet its customers' expectations and to make and quickly execute decisions, according to the press release.

With regional offices already in place in Japan, China, the Americas, EMEA and for Travel Retail, the Singapore location for Asia-Pacific is the sixth regional HQ for Shiseido.

The group's mindset in "Think Global, Act Local" and is part of its medium-to-long-term "Vision 2020" strategy, in which marketing and innovation are two key points.
