Retrosuperfuture debuts collaboration eyewear with Mark Gonzales

Eyewear brand, Retrosuperfuture has debuted its collaboration eyewear with skateboard pioneer, Mark Gonzales.

 
Super Mark Gonzales is an oversized structure designed for both men and women. The collaboration eyewear is a thick black Italian acetate frame with orange Carl Zeiss lenses. The lenses also feature the words, “Hello Gonz” on the right lens and “Bye Bye Gonz” on the left lens. The brand revealed that it wanted to design a pair of sunglasses that best represent Gonzales’ bold character.
 
Gonzales, who is also known as “The Gonz”, is a pioneer of modern street skateboarding. He rose to popularity in his teens after being featured on the cover of Thrasher Magazine. In the 2000s, Gonzales became known for his art and writing just as much as his skateboarding legacy.
