As of June 17, Rebag said it will now accept and sell a range of accessories, including sunglasses, scarves, shawls, charms, keychains, belts, gloves, hair accessories, hats, small home accessories, small leather goods, fashion jewelry and more, from luxury brands like Hermès, Chanel, Louis Vuitton and Gucci.

With the added category, customers can sell any accessories that fall within Rebag's accepted designers and model lists in-person at any Rebag store, and receive an offer and payment in less than an hour, the company said. Shoppers also have the option to submit their accessories and shop accessories online.

The newly launched category is compatible with Clair by Rebag, the company's proprietary software that allows shoppers to determine the resale value of their handbag and access an exact and fully automated price that Rebag is willing to pay for the item. In addition, customers can shop the new accessories category using Rebag Infinity, Rebag's rental service.

"When we launched Rebag, our goal was to become the expert in luxury handbags, which we largely succeeded in," said Charles Gorra, CEO and founder of Rebag.

"By expanding our business model with the launch of accessories, we are excited to broaden our knowledge and continue to share it with our customers."

The new category comes after Rebag announced that it secured $15 million in Series D funding in May, bringing its total funding to $68 million.
