The Monte Carlo Fashion Week Awards (MCFW Awards), created by the Monaco Fashion Chamber in 2015 to "grant recognition to international designers on behalf of this institution," will be presented to them on 3rd June in the halls of the Monaco Oceanographic Museum.

Philipp Plein will be awarded the MCFW International prize "in recognition of the creative vision of the German designer, who was able to establish himself as a unique new name in the luxury world," stated in a press release Federica Nardoni Spinetta, President of the Monaco Fashion Chamber.

Italian-Haitian designer Stella Jean will be presented with the MCFW Award – Ethical Fashion Brand for "her engagement and contribution to the development of ethical, sustainable fashion."

The first edition of the MCFW awards was held during the Monte Carlo Fashion Week 2015 and the prizes were presented to Chapurin (Special MCFW Award for the Russia year), to the Versace label (MCFW International Award) and to Mario Boselli, honorary president of the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, the Italian Fashion Chamber (a Career MCFW award).
