As was announced in March with the publication of its annual results, Perry Ellis International – which has a stable of around thirty brands and holds, amongst others, the licence for Nike’s swimwear – is re-focusing on golf, men’s and women’s sportswear, and swimming equipment. Following on from the acquisition of golf brand Hogan in February, the American group has just announced that it is expanding its licence agreement with Callaway Golf.

Perry Ellis International, which has held since 2009 the licence for design, manufacture and distribution (department stores and specialist stores) of Callaway Golf’s ready-to-wear sportswear and accessories for the USA, Canada, Latin American and the Caribbean, will now take on all distribution channels – from national accounts to golf clubs as well as tournaments and online – for the areas already held, as well as for Central America and Mexico.

In its 2011-2012 financial year, Perry Ellis International recorded an increase in turnover of 24% on its previous result of 980 million dollars (738 millions euros).
