Paul & Shark signs distribution agreement for UK and Ireland
Italian lifestyle brand Paul & Shark has announced a new distribution partnership with Four Marketing as it looks to elevate its positioning in the UK and Ireland.
New marketing and communication initiatives, including national advertising, will support the distribution business with key retailers, such as Harrods and Flannels, in addition to the brand’s London flagship store.
Four Marketing has been acting as an agent for the brand for over 10 years. Meanwhile, Present Agency will continue to represent Paul & Shark’s PR and digital marketing, including the management of UK e-commerce.
Founded in the '70s, Paul & Shark is a luxury sportswear brand with over 209 stores in 73 countries. It opened its Regent Street flagship store in London in 2017, and it has further locations on some of the world’s most prestigious shopping streets including Via Montenapoleone in Milan and Madison Avenue in New York.
Andrea Dini, chief executive commented on the distribution agreement: “More than 10 years ago Paul & Shark began a collaboration with Four Marketing which was both challenging and innovative. The dynamics of the UK market appeared to me immediately very different and definitely faster than the ones in Italy and Europe.
“Today, the rapid consolidation of the UK retail environment has determined the need for a new business model. We have decided to set up a distribution partnership with Four Marketing that I am confident will further elevate the positioning of the brand as well as enlighten its core values of design, innovation and creativity.”
In Spring Summer 2019, Paul & Shark will launch a series of collaborations with LQQK Studio and menswear icon Nick Wooster, as well as a technical collection developed for the professional catamaran racing M31 Shark Team.
