Organisers of men’s fashion week in Paris and in Milan have decided to prolong their agreement to have a coinciding day until 2016, it was announced on Monday. The French chamber of fashion, la chambre syndicale de la mode, and the Italian Camera della Moda have confirmed that they will continue to overlap by one day starting from next season. For the upcoming shows, the Milan leg will take place between the 22nd and 24th June before Paris between the 26th and 3rd July.

The announcement comes midway through the third edition of London Collections: Men, whose timing caused tension in the fashion calendar, particularly with the Italian organisers of Pitti Uomo. The London event’s final day overlaps with the start of men’s trade show Pitti Uomo on Tuesday 18th June, the same day that Burberry Prorsom is hosting its first show back in London after leaving the Milanese calendar.
