Packer Shoes, Asics, Mitchell & Ness partner on tennis-inspired collection

Just in time for the US Open—Packer Shoes, Asics and Mitchell & Ness announced on Wednesday a limited-edition collaboration collection of tennis-inspired sneakers, apparel and accessories.

 
The “Game. Set. Match.” collection consists of vintage tennis-inspired pieces like a Mitchell & Ness Arthur Ashe Track Jacket, polo shirts, t-shirts, shorts, pullovers and windbreakers. Asics and Onitsuka Tiger contribute the Gel-Lyte III, Gel-Sight, and Gel-Resolution 6 sneakers, as well as the Lawnship and GSM sneakers from Onitsuka Tiger.
 
The collaboration collection celebrates the brands’ respective histories and the sport of tennis. Mitchell & Ness was founded in the early 1900s and got its start stringing handcrafted tennis racquets, and Asics is one of the top performance tennis brands in the world.

The “Game. Set. Match” collection will launch at a special pop-up activation space at Grand Central Station in New York City on August 30. The pop up will remain to September 1.
