Swedish brand Nudie Jeans was founded in 2001 as a specialist in eco-responsible denim. In early 2014 it opened its first store in Germany, introducing the Repair Shop concept, and drawing on the expertise of Karl-Heinz Müller, boss of the 14oz stores and founder of the Bread & Butter trade show.

Nudie Jeans has since expanded its presence on the German market. It operates a subsidiary in the country, where it is available in 150 multi-brand shops. And now it has increased its territorial coverage by opening a second store.

The brand's new Repair Shop is an 85 m² store located at 2 Rumfordstrasse in Munich, inside a XIXth century building in the Gärtnerplatzviertel neighbourhood. Its minimalist interiors feature rough materials and steel, and are decorated in white, black and grey.

Nudie Jeans stated it is also looking to expand in other German-speaking markets but has not yet found suitable locations. It currently operates some twenty stores in Scandinavia, as well as others in the UK, Spain, Australia, Japan and the US.
