The California shopping mall is undergoing renovations to add 422,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, increasing its total square footage to 1.2 million. Westfield is slated to open over 200 stores in 2017, including a new three-level Nordstrom store, a completely remodeled, three-level Bloomingdale’s store and a modern two-level Macy’s store.

Los Angeles-based brands Equipment, Joie, Current/Elliott and Bailey 44 will also join the list of retailers, as well as labels Zadig & Voltaire, Aritzia, Ted Baker, Maje and Sandro, Suitsupply, Oak + Fort and Bonobos.

In addition to the new retailers, the Westfield Century City expansion will include eight acres of open space for pop up events and art exhibits, new technology for navigation, services and promotions, and access to the future Purple Line subway extension.

L.A. based interior designer Kelly Wearstler is designing the renovations alongside Westfield's in-house design team.
