The store, which marks the retailer’s first ever outlet store, will be NA-KD fashion’s second shop in the Netherlands following its European brick-and-mortar debut in Amstelveen, which was unveiled in September of this year.

The 150-square-metre outlet store plans to open its doors at the end of this month and will remain open for at least six months. The shop will offer remaining stock at a discount of 30 to 80 percent.

NA-KD was founded in 2015 by Jarno Vanhatapio as a multi-brand e-store, offering brands such as Calvin Klein, Cheap Monday and Dagmar. The retailer also operates its own namesake label, which was introduced to the Dutch market with the opening of the Amstelveen store in September. NA-KD focuses on women aged 17-35 with a range that includes apparel and accessories. Vanhatapio previously launched the e-commerce companies Nelly.com and Zoozoo.com.

Designer Outlet Roermond is part of the McArthurGlen Group. The shopping destination, which has more than 185 stores, is one of the most popular attractions of the Netherlands. In 2017, the center recorded 7.5 million visitors, attracting both tourists and locals, as it is strategically located near the Dutch and German border.
