Leadership change at Mugler. The French label founded by Thierry Mugler in 1974, now owned by the L'Oréal group, has appointed Adrian Corsin as managing director. He succeeds Pascal Conte-Jodra, who had been the helm of the company since 2018, and has decided to pursue other projects.

The appointment was confirmed to FashionNetwork.com by the label itself, which also said that Corsin will report directly to Mugler’s president, Danièle Lahana-Aidenbaum. Canada-born Corsin, who worked for several years in the beauty sector, joined Mugler in 2022 as fashion director of business acceleration.

He has now been promoted to the top of the label, which in the last few years has undergone a fully fledged rejuvenation and boosted its visibility, notably since US designer Casey Cadwallader took charge of style in 2017. In his new role, Corsin’s mission will be to build on this progress and foster the label’s expansion.

Corsin graduated in 2008 from the Schulich School of Business at Toronto’s York University. He started his business career at L’Oréal, joining the group’s Canadian subsidiary in Montreal before moving to its headquarters in Paris. In 2017, he left the French cosmetics giant to join Parfums Christian Dior, where he held various positions before being named international head of marketing for make-up. Five years later, he joined Mugler.
