Modesign Academy: a new Fashion and Design Management school in Brussels

Founded in 2014, Modesign Academy will propose in September 2015 a new Master in Fashion and Design Management.

The curriculum is split into three different phases: discovery, development and internship. The modules are taught in English and in French by professionals from the fashion and design industries, such as Chloé Jay, General Manager France at Van Cleef and Arpels, Christophe Marcolini and Hande Sadic, Production Managers respectively at Pierre Hardy and Victoria Beckham.

The objective of this formation is to facilitate the acquisition of theorical and practical expertise for positions such as product manager, e-marketing manager and communication manager, among others.

This formation will conclude with the launch by the students of a pop-up store in Brussels, meeting the eco-design and luxury requirements.

Moreover, the school also offers evening classes for entrepreneurs, as well as summer classes.

The school is backed by a number of partners. Among them, MAD Brussels, WBD, Creamoda and La Maison du Design. Its founder, Olivier Zeegers, is a graduate in Fashion Management from the IFM. In the past, he was a pedagogical coordinator at the IFM, and he also launched a Fashion Master with Franc'Pairon.
