Thierry Guibert, CEO of Swiss group Maus Frères, has a new right-hand man. The boss of Lacoste, who took charge of the French sportswear label’s owner, Swiss group Maus Frères, at the start of the year, has appointed Alexandre Nodale as the group's deputy CEO.

The two men know each other well. Nodale, 43, was the CEO of French furniture retailer Conforama from 2015 to 2019 and, between 2012 and 2015, he acted as the deputy CEO of Thierry Guibert, then in overall charge of Conforama. Previously, Nodale had worked in the finance department of Kering, between 2000 and 2009.

In January 2020, Nodale joined Maus Frères, where he managed the business of the group’s Swiss department store chains, Manor and Jumbo.

On May 21, he was appointed deputy CEO of Maus Frères. As part of the group's senior management reshuffle, he has also taken on the role of president of MF Brands Group International (at the head of Lacoste, Gant, Aigle, Tecnifibre and The Kooples), a position formerly occupied by Guibert.

In 2019, Maus Frères reported a revenue of €3.21 billion for its fashion and sportswear division.
