Marni has announced a new partnership for the development of its children's line. In a press release, the Italian ready-to-wear label for men and women announced a "partnership with Brave Kid," the company specialised in children's wear from the Renzo Rosso fashion group OTB, which acquired a majority in the Marni capital at the end of 2012.

The brand started in the children's segment with the internal production of a few junior pieces before launching an entirely separate line in winter 2012, still designed by Marni's founding designer Marni Consuelo Castiglioni and aimed at children 2 to 12. This Marni Children collection was produced and distributed under license by Italian company Spazio Sei.

The division of the Renzo Rosso group specialised in clothing and accessories for children thus strengthens its brand portfolio, for both its own brands and brands under license, which includes Diesel Kid, John Galliano Kids and Dsquared2. The brands managed by Brave Kid are available in 40 countries via 1,200 points of sale.
