Iconic shopping and dining area Carnaby Street, in central London, has revealed a number of new names who are opening stores in the area.

Carnaby Street - Carnaby Street

Billionaire Boys Club opened a store in Carnaby earlier this year and, as previously reported, MAC and TOMS are also opening new shops in the area.

In addition, Parisian fashion brand The Kooples is replacing its current Carnaby Street store with a new UK flagship, which will measure 3,000 sqft. and open in July. The new shop will have a unique combination of product, selling Kooples' men's and womenswear, as well as the full Kooples Sport collection.

Jonathan Trepo, Business Development Director of The Kooples, commented: "We are excited to be opening a bigger and better combined store and that Kooples Sport will join Carnaby. It is the perfect shopping and lifestyle destination for us to expand the brand in the UK."

April also sees the opening of British fashion brand Oi Polloi's first store outside of Manchester. The shop will be located on Marshall Street and sell an "edited" collection of about 40 brands.

Steve Sanderson, Co-Founder of Oi Polloi says: "We are celebrating 12 years in the industry with the opening of our first store outside Manchester. Carnaby is the perfect location for our store with its mix of diverse, independent brands alongside larger flagship global brands in its 13 streets. The Marshall Street store will sell exclusive products with some brands only being available at the Oi Polloi Soho store."

American Apparel is also set to re-launch on Carnaby Street over three floors, and Barbour Heritage has renewed its lease and will refit its Foubert's Place store, to open later this summer.
