Lingerie brand Kayser signs deal to launch in the US
Chilean lingerie brand Kayser is ramping up its international expansion and is set to launch in the US market in partnership with businessman Henry Levy.
Local newspapers reported that the brand’s management team and partners travelled to the US to sign a deal that would open help them enter the market.
On the company’s expansion plans, Ignacio Nazal, commercial manager of Kayser, told Publimetro: “Initially, we’ll open stores in malls, but we’re not ruling out the possibility to open high street stores. The goal is to reach 100 locations over five years and grow across the country.”
The brand has currently 64 stores in Chile, where products are also distributed through Walmart, Cencosud, Hites and La Polar. Internationally, Kayser has a presence in Paraguay, Uruguay, Brazil, Peru, Ecuador, Venezuela, Panama, Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic, among others.
According to El Mercurio, the company sells approximately 600,000 pieces a month, and made $35 million in revenue in 2016.
