10 years after opening its first lifestyle store in Hong Kong, and then extending into Singapore, Kapok has launched its first fashion line.

Kapok was founded by France's Arnault Castel in 2006. Castel and his Kapok team - a retailer that stocks brands such as RAINS, A.P.C and Maison Kitsune - have taken their fashion expertise into design, and released a minimal and clean collection of basics, that can be worn by both men and women.

Dubbed 'Future Classics', the collection focuses on gender-neutral t-shirts, denim shirts, dresses and shorts, as well as Japanese selvedge denim.

Every piece is tailored for Asian body types - slim and small - with Japanese cotton and technical fabrics at the heart of craftsmanship, ideal for warmer weather and humid climates in Asia.

Prices range from $89 for a henley t-shirt to $179 for a pair of slim tapered jeans.
