Lenzing names Waltraud Kaserer new Head of Communications

Lenzing Group announced Friday that it has appointed Waltraud Kaserer as the new Head of Corporate Communications, effective January 1, 2016. Kaserer will succeed Angelika Guldt, who will be responsible for communicating sustainability-related issues of the Lenzing Group starting at the beginning of 2016.

Kaserer possesses 20 years of media experience dating back to 1995. She most recently served as the Deputy Head of Cabinet for Reinhold Mitterlehner, Austria’s Vice Chancellor and Federal Minister of Science, Research and Economy. Prior to that, Kaserer has served as the Press Spokesperson for Mitterlehner; as the Editor of Foreign Affairs for “WELT am Sonntag” in Berlin; developed the online media sector of Spiegel and The Financial Times Germany; belonged to the editorial board of Austrian business magazine, Format; was the financial editor of the Austrian daily newspaper “Der Standard” and served as a moderator of many TV broadcasts.
