Alber Elbaz has been removed from Lanvin's board of directors, which met on Monday 25th April. The decision is the result of the Israeli-American designer's having exited, on 28th October, his role as Creative Director of the historic Parisian fashion label, owned by Chinese billionaire Shaw Lan Wang.

The removal should not have any impact on Alber Elbaz's minority shareholding in the Jeanne Lanvin company. Elbaz's stake is held indirectly through a separate company.
