On Sunday October 3, at 3 pm CET, L'Oréal Paris will stage the fourth edition of its annual fashion show on Human Rights Plaza (also known as the Trocadéro esplanade), in the heart of the French capital. The event, which will take place concurrently with Paris Fashion Week, of which L'Oréal Paris is a partner, will be open to the general public and will be broadcast live on the beauty brand’s social media channels in some 30 countries.

L'Oréal Paris staged its first fashion show in 2017, and will hold the event’s fourth edition on October 3 2021 - DR

“This year’s show will convey a strong message of self-worth and disrupt the conventions of typical runway shows by inviting the public to join the ‘Stand Up Against Street Harassment’ programme. Celebrating our feminine and feminist vision, the show will be a rallying cry for all women, and also men, who share these convictions,” said Delphine Viguier-Hovasse, L’Oréal Paris global brand president, in a press release.

The show, which also marks the 50th anniversary of the beauty brand’s signature message, ‘because you are worth it’, is positioned as an ode to women's emancipation and to diversity. During the show, L’Oréal Paris will also rechristen Human Rights Plaza, where the Universal Declaration of Human Rights was proclaimed, as ‘plaza of the rights of men and women’.

Helen Mirren, Camila Cabello, Yseult, Camille Razat and Liya Kebede will take to the catwalk, wearing Balmain, Elie Saab, Mugler, Koché and Ester Manas.
