Karine Arabian: the brand has entrusted its collections to Clélia Tavernier

Published

Karine Arabian has a new creative director. The house whose designs are no longer created by the designer who gave it its name has recruited Clélia Tavernier to design its line of shoes and bags. Tavernier is already familiar with the label, being behind its latest fall-winter 14/15 collection.

Clélia Tavernier, the young designer of leather goods, began her career at Kenzo before moving onto Yves Saint Laurent, Pierre Hardy, JC de Castelbaljac and Léonard. She also launched her own eponymous brand in 2014.

The Karine Arabian fashion house has chosen not to comment on this story, keeping a low profile since the departure of its co-founder, supposedly having left due to disagreement with her associate, Daniel Yeremian.
