Jeff Press promoted to chief creative officer at Luxury Optical Holdings

Las Vegas-based luxury eyewear retailer Luxury Optical Holdings (LOH) has promoted eyewear industry veteran Jeff Press to the role of chief creative officer for both Morgenthal Frederics and Robert Marc NYC.

In his new role, Press will oversee product design and creative for both luxury eyewear brands, as well as Morgenthal Frederics' designer collaborations with the likes of Oscar de la Renta, Monse and current Womenswear Designer of the Year nominee Rosie Assoulin

Press has had experience working with both of the brands where he will take over as chief creative officer, including in his recent role with LOH as senior vice president of merchandising and design. In 1996, he began his career at Robert Marc NYC before honing his skills under Richard Morgenthal. A trained optician, Press became the lead designer of Morgenthal Frederics in 2006, and was inducted into the CFDA in 2015. 

Under Press, a relaunched Robert Marc NYC will make its debut at Vision Expo East 2019 this month. 

“With his exhaustive knowledge of the category and his insight as a licensed optician, [Press] brings with him a very unique perspective and expertise,” said Timothy Mayhew, chief executive officer of LOH, in a press releaces. “Over the past 20 years, he has been instrumental in building Morgenthal Frederics into a world-class brand."

LOH currently manufactures and distributes luxury optical frames and glasses in over 500 points of sale worldwide.
