Italian fast-fashion retailer OVS appoints Ismail Seyis as General Manager
Italian fashion group OVS has made a change at the top of the eponymous fast-fashion retailer, appointing Ismail Seyis, who since 2016 was in charge of international operations for the Italian group, as the General Manager of fashion chain OVS.

Seyis, 45, was formerly in charge of the franchising department at Gap, active in more than 45 countries. He replaces Francesco Sama, who led OVS for six years and left the company earlier this month for personal reasons.
“I’m sure that Ismail will contribute to the growth of the OVS brand, notably thanks to his solid international know-how,” said Stefano Beraldo, CEO of the Italian group, which also owns the Upim and BluKids brands.
The OVS group, in which former owner Coin still holds a minority stake, operates 1,600 stores worldwide. In 2017, it generated a revenue of €1.525 billion, equivalent to a 12% increase. Last year, OVS returned to the French market and also opened a subsidiary in the country.
