High Ridge Brands appoints CFO

High Ridge Brands has split its former joint Chief Operating Officer/Chief Financial Officer role, and has appointed Amanda Allen as the company's new Chief Financial Officer.



Allen will assume all financial and accounting for High Ridge Brands so the former Chief Financial Officer, Richard Kirk, can focus on his recently expanded role as Chief Operating Officer. Kirk will exclusively assume the COO role where he will focus on High Ridge Brands' recent acquisition of oral care brand Dr. Fresh, LLC.

Allen brings years of experience leading financials for consumer products goods. Most recently Allen was the Chief Financial Officer at Edible Arrangements. She was a banker for UBS where she specialized in retail and CPG finance for Waterworks, PepsiCo and Starwood Hotels.

Patricia Lopez, High Ridge Brands Chief Executive Officer and President said Allen's experience with "growth-oriented mid-size companies will be invaluable" to the company's long range plans.

High Ridge Brands' portfolio includes Zest, Alberto VO5, White Rain, LA Looks, Rave and Thicker Fuller Hair. It holds licenses to entertainment properties including Star Wars, Batman, Spider Man, Hello Kitty and Transformers. High Ridge Brands is a portfolio company of Clayton, Dubilier & Rice.

Allen received her B.S. in Economics from Duke University and her M.B.A from New York University. Her appointment as Chief Financial Officer is effective immediately.
