Raleigh, NC-based lifestyle clothing brand Peter Millar has collaborated with premium USA-made leather sandal company Hari Mari to launch an exclusive sandal collection.

The three-style capsule includes cognac, navy and chocolate colorways with Hari Mari's signature contrast sole and co-branding. The sandals feature neoprene-lined, memory foam-filled toe posts and straps to eliminate break-in periods and offer a premium fit. They are lightweight with thin, memory foam-filled midsoles and an exclusive heel cup design with non-marking carbon-free rubber outsoles.

Peter Millar Vice President of Design and Merchandising, Jason Cater, explained in a statement that the brand had specific goals in mind when designing what would become the Peter Millar sandal.

"We wanted to collaborate with American brands that stand for authenticity, quality, and craftsmanship," he said, adding, "When developing this new collaboration we wanted to partner with brands where commonalities existed through creative vision" as well as company values.

In addition to partnering with Hari Mari, Peter Millar sourced its leather for the collection from the Horween Leather Company, a 100-year-old tannery based in Chicago.

Hari Mari founder Jeremy Stewart said that the collaboration was a "huge honor" for his company, "An honor made even better by the collaborative experience of working side-by-side with Peter Millar's beyond-talented team on all aspects of the sandal, A to Z!"

Peter Millar is a division of Richemont S.A. The brand offers casual sportswear, tailored dress furnishings, and luxury and performance golf attire. Hari Mari was founded in 2012 and pledges 1% of sales to support children's cancer research.

The Hari Mari x Peter Millar sandals will be sold at Peter Millar retail stores beginning this month, as well as online through both brands' e-commerce sites. The collection will be offered to Peter Millar wholesale partners for Fall 2018. They are priced at $125 a pair.
