Gucci and Net-A-Porter have announced in a press release the launch of an exclusive capsule collection, scheduled for 12th May.

Gucci will be featured on Net-A-porter

Alessandro Michele, the Creative Director of the Italian brand belonging to the Kering universe, will present about twenty items highlighting Gucci's typical motifs.

The collection will include new takes on some of Alessandro Michele' best loved models, notable among them a silk shirt printed with a floral motif, inspired by a XIXth century tapestry, a woollen pleated skirt, a reversible cardigan in cashmere and merino wool, and an organza sleeveless dress decorated with appliqués and ribbons.

The collection will also feature accessories such as mules, given a contemporary twist by the designer, a reinterpretation of the famous 'Dionysus' handbag, the 'Ace' sneakers and also an original iPhone cover.

The YNAP (Yoox Net-A-Porter) group's luxury online sales website could not expect for anything better from Gucci, one of its best-selling brands. As for the fashion label's CEO Marco Bizzarri, in the press release he enthused about this collaboration, which will doubtlessly add to the brand's visibility.
