Givenchy makes a grand return to New York. The fashion label, owned by the LVMH group, inaugurated at the end of August a store extending over an area of more than 450 m² at 747 Madison Avenue and 65th Street. The interior decoration has been created under Riccardo Tisci's supervision.

It's the second Givenchy store to open in the US market, after the one in Miami. It's in fact a return to New York for Givenchy, since the label had already opened a shop on Madison Avenue, which closed in 2006.

The new store brings together all of the brand's features, showcasing the full range of what Givenchy has to offer. "This key event in the label's retail expansion is the latest stage in a strategy that relies on creating bespoke stores, and it strengthens our long-standing relationship with New York City," Givenchy points out in a press release.

The fashion label, with estimated revenues in the region of €400 million, plans to invest in the US market, reinforcing its local wholesale distribution and opening other stores stateside. Also, in a very rare move, Givenchy will be presenting its Spring/Summer 2016 collection at the upcoming New York Fashion Week
