The GapKids x ED collection is a limited-edition apparel collection for girls that is intended to encourage young girls to be themselves, take pride in who they are and do what makes them happy. The collection consists of Gap staples for girls and a selection for boys and adults that feature a lightning bolt, a symbol of empowerment, and the speech bubble, which is a symbol of self-expression.

The campaign features six young girls, Alexey, Relz, Ryann, Bellatreas, Torrae and Asia, who are all between the ages of 7 and 12 and have already excelled at their respective passions, which include skateboarding, drumming, robotics and entrepreneurship.

“This opportunity to partner with Gap and my new lifestyle brand, ED, is the perfect way to celebrate girls just for being who they are; and to encourage them to unlease their passions; whether it’s math, soccer, singing, dancing, or simply singing while dancing in their bedroom,” said DeGeneres.

The 70-piece collection launched in over 25 markets worldwide and a portion of the proceeds will go to Girls Inc. in North America and CARE in the UK and Japan. Prices range from $6.95 to $59.95.
